We believe that PE is vital to a child’s physical development and well-being. All pupils at Sherard will receive a broad and balanced physical education curriculum in the following areas:

Pupils are taught to appreciate the importance of a healthy and fit body, as part of the curriculum in PE as well as in Health Education.
Sport Premium
Primary schools in England have been awarded a PE and Sports grant to improve the quality of PE provision. This grant is intended to inspire a generation to enjoy and participate in more sport, building a sporting legacy in each child that will keep them healthy, active and enjoying sport as they get older.
